The setup

Ava is the new wife of a man who has left for a work trip, and she wastes no time inventing house rules. First comes a ban on his phone, which gets exiled to the kitchen. Second, he must knock before entering her room. The third rule, she says, can wait. The pilot ends with him peeking through her half-open door while she stretches, and realizing she saw him. Next comes a visit to his room, where she points out he stared for a solid minute, adds that she liked it, and then reveals what rule three really is.
