The Gods Gave Me My Father's Wife

The setup

King Evian presents his new wife, Queen Lysandra, to his son Prince Theron, and both of them look as if they have seen a ghost. For weeks, the same dreams have been visiting them, and each recognizes the other as the dream partner. An oracle crashes the ceremony to warn that the new queen is a viper in the royal bedchamber, and that the kingdom will fall for it. The guards haul her away, but the seed is planted. Episode 2 brings the full prophecy: the goddess of love visited both, and the king's son is fated to take the queen and the crown. Lysandra confesses she married the king only to find the man in her visions. The gods lock the doors.

Why people keep watching

Myth with a throne room: a prophecy that rewrites who gets the crown, a queen who planned her own destiny, and a prince who cannot decide whether to resist the gods. Free episodes stay with dreams, glances and locked doors.
