My New Stepmom Used to Be a Stripper

The setup

Jake's father calls him over to meet his new wife, Mia, who greets him as her stepson. Jake recognizes her at once: she is the dancer who worked his friend's bachelor party in Las Vegas, the one who went by Cherry. She plays dumb until a small detail gives her away, and then she turns to bargaining. While his dad fires up the grill, the two settle on a deal: one last private dance after midnight in the living room, and in return he keeps his mouth shut. His friend Tyler, whose party it was, rings to say he wants to drop by on Saturday to meet the new stepmom. At the table, Mia calls Jake the sweetest.

Why people keep watching

A secret that cuts both ways: his from the bachelor party, hers from her past, with a father at the grill who suspects nothing. The free episode stays at tense banter and a promise of midnight.
