Good Boy For Stepmom

The setup

His father is away until Thursday, so the adult stepson is staying in the guest room across the hall from his stepmom. She arranged it herself. The bathroom is shared, she teases him with a nickname, and her bedroom door is open, which is no accident. He tells her they cannot, and he sounds like he means it. She replies that she has no illusions about who he is, which is not the same as saying no. Candy's setup rests on that doorway: a grown man making the case for restraint, a stepmom who has already decided otherwise, and a house with only two people in it until the father returns. Premium from episode 1.

Why people keep watching

A teasing power imbalance: she sets the terms, he objects, and the open door says more than the dialogue. Add a deadline in the form of Thursday and a house with just the two of them, and the tension keeps building.
