Christmas With My Girlfriend's Stepsister

The setup

Kenzie is back for the holidays, and her stepsister's partner has volunteered to collect her at the airport. It is supposed to be a favor. Instead the ride turns into one where the passenger is far more interesting than the road, and the driver is reminded, loudly, who is waiting for him at home. When the stepsister phones to check in, both of them already have a version of events that sounds perfectly harmless. Kenzie thanks him sweetly, calls him a lifesaver and promises nothing worth mentioning happened. Then they walk into the house together, in full festive cheer, and episode 1 closes on a seasonal greeting that doubles as a dare.

Why people keep watching

The whole show runs on a lie that has to be told in front of the tree. Nobody needs an account for episode 1, and what it shows is a look, a costume and a cover story. Anything explicit sits behind the paywall.

Tune in if

Good for a cold December night when you want a guilty secret under the mistletoe instead of another family movie.
