My Stepsister Plays Hard To Get

The setup

Kayla is a grown woman with a protest sign, a loud opinion about her stepbrother Cole and no plan to change either. In the pilot she is chanting at a rally when he honks at her from the road, and she lectures him on etiquette in front of a crowd. He offers a lift anyway, with their parents away for the week. During the drive he keeps glancing over, she calls him a creep, and then she hands him a bottle of water and watches him blame a seagull for his wandering eyes. Back home she tells her friend Tess that he is insufferable, though she admits, quietly, that it was a bit flattering.

Why people keep watching

She says no with such energy that it starts to sound like interest. The free episode stays on a rally, a car and a very bad excuse, playful from start to finish and a long way from anything explicit.
