The setup
Ava has a wedding to plan, and her fiance, Brad, keeps proving he cannot be found. So she drags her stepbrother Leo through the door and announces the rules: today he is Brad. She needs to practice, and she is particular about where hands belong. A call from Brad confirms the arrangement, and he sounds relieved to have found a stand-in so safe. Leo, who is nobody's idea of a danger, rehearses a set of vows he writes on the spot, including a pledge to pay attention whenever she falls silent. Then the officiant's line comes up, the one about kissing the bride, and Ava dares him to prove Brad wrong.
Why people keep watching
The joke is that a rehearsal is supposed to be pretend, and both of them keep forgetting. Guests get episode 1 on the house, and the free part sticks to dress fittings, vows and one lingering pause.
