The Maid of Honor

The setup

Emma is putting on her wedding dress behind a closed door, and tradition says the groom must not see her. That leaves him alone with Mila, who is both the maid of honor and Emma's sister, and who has been waiting for exactly this window. She helps with his tie, admits her crush began the day he first showed up in her sister's life, and begs for a single time before the vows. He reminds her that he is about to marry Emma. In episode 2 Mila is still holding on, asks him to undo her dress and answers every objection with the same fact: Emma cannot come out. Meanwhile Emma calls for Mila, because she needs help with her hair.

Why people keep watching

A ticking clock built on superstition: the bride is minutes away and unreachable, and the temptation sits in the room. The free episodes live on whispers, zippers and the fear of a door opening.
