She Was Sent to Kill Me

The setup

Eli is bleeding, outmatched and running for a gate that promises freedom to any player who reaches it. Delilah, the hunter given his name, has a weapon aimed at his back and a rulebook that says a hunter who helps a player dies alongside him. Instead of firing, she listens to a deal: he will bandage her injured arm in return for a head start, five seconds of it. She counts it down and lets him go. Episode 2 shows him reaching the gate and choosing to come back for her, even as the voice running the game gives Delilah a five second deadline to shoot him or share his fate. She does not look away from his face.

Why people keep watching

Life and death with a countdown: a rulebook that punishes mercy, a hunter who stops mid-aim, and a player who keeps choosing the wrong moment to be kind. The free episodes stay on suspense and one slow look.
