The setup

Evangelina's mother has just married, and the family villa is where Evangelina meets everyone. Her stepfather is charming and clearly pleased with the new household, and he introduces his brother Chad, who is dangerously good-looking and not shy about saying she is lovelier than he had been told. Chad is heading to a yacht party that night and invites her along. Episode 2 sets sail: sunshine, a sunlit deck, dancing, and Chad insisting the party is casual while hinting that the crowd is rougher than she is used to.
