The setup

Doug, Brandi's husband, clocks out at dawn and sleeps like a stone until noon, which leaves her a wide-open window and an audience. The man next door watches her stretch every day, and in the pilot she lets him know she has noticed and has no plans to stop. Doug comes home, heads straight to bed, and tells her to keep it down, and she promises to be very quiet. Her plan for the next morning is brief: she invites the neighbor over to take part. Episode 2 arrives on schedule, with a stretch on the living room floor, a question about where Doug is, and an answer that promises two safe hours. Then a voice cuts the clock short.
