My Wife's Best Friend

The setup

Anna's husband works from home, so when her old college friend Riley turns up needing a place to crash after a bad breakup, he is the one at the door. He recognizes her at once and the room goes awkward. Anna waves it off, and Riley, amused, hints that the past is not entirely past. Anna leaves for work with a cheerful instruction to play nice. Episode 2 puts the two at the kitchen table, where Riley asks about the marriage with unnerving candor, reveals she knows more about their private evenings than he would like and reminds him that best friends have a habit of sharing.

Why people keep watching

A familiar guest-in-the-house setup, twisted: an oblivious wife, a houseguest who isn't and a husband stuck at home. Riley Reid's licensed AI twin plays her, so the real Riley never filmed a frame, and the free episodes stay with teasing talk.
