Mum Got Sick On Our Holiday

The setup

A bad plate of prawns lands his wife in bed on the first day of the trip, and she asks him to keep Harriet, her grown daughter, entertained. Harriet's idea of being entertained is different. The pilot runs on sunscreen she cannot reach to apply, a hands-on remark delivered while Mum is on the phone, and a sudden need for a VIP daybed with curtains, purely for the shade. Episode 2 turns up the heat: Harriet reveals that he has occupied her thoughts since the wedding, he admits that half the pool has been staring at her and so has he, and Mum calls from upstairs for cookies at the worst possible moment.

Why people keep watching

Resort comedy with a British accent meets forbidden attraction: sunburn, shared lies and a spouse who is always one floor away. Nothing in the free episodes goes past playful and suggestive; the real trouble waits in paid ones.

Tune in if

Reach for it on a lazy, funny night when you want poolside awkwardness, a very guilty narrator and a cover story that keeps falling apart.
