Lodge 69 Was Double Booked

The setup

Two couples arrive at the lodge on the same weekend with the same booking confirmation. There is no other room in town and the road is shut, so they agree to share the place, split four ways: kitchen, bedrooms, hot tub and plenty of good manners. In the pilot the manners hold, mostly, while the couples size one another up and someone is reminded not to wander into the wrong bedroom. Episode 2 brings a ski day. It sends part of the group up the mountain and keeps the rest behind with a sudden cold, an empty afternoon and a hot tub that is oddly not hot.

Why people keep watching

Forced proximity at its most literal: a shared kitchen, one weekend and a rule that nobody voted for. The tension is who is lying to whom. The free episodes stay at the flirt, the fumble and the closed bedroom door.

Tune in if

For anyone who likes ensemble mischief in a cozy mountain setting, and a cast where nobody is quite as faithful as they look.
