I Couldn't Say No to Our Babysitter

The setup

Mila has wrapped up her evening at the Hartley house when her date cancels again, so she lingers in the hallway, calling a cab. Mr. Hartley insists on driving her home instead, and she tells him most men would not even offer. The ride is polite and slightly too long. At her building she says a man like him beats her usual dates, and he reminds her he is married. She asks him up for a minute anyway, using a message for his wife as the excuse. Episode 2 has her slip away to change into the outfit she planned for the date, ask what he thinks, and hear him say it is very nice, just as his phone lights up with home calling.

Why people keep watching

It runs on small decisions: a ride, a hallway, one more minute. The husband narrates his own restraint while it quietly gives way. The free episodes keep to flirting, a change of outfit and a ringing phone.
