Hot Shot

The setup

The pilot sends a happily married guy to buy anniversary flowers, where he runs into Katrine, his wife Sienna's best friend and a world-class flirt. She teases him about trading up, then turns up again at the gym while he is trying to burn off nerves. Episode 2 has Sienna turning up with an anniversary surprise: a day of paintball, plus a remark that he seems to like her friend rather a lot. She insists she is serious. Then the teams are picked, and Katrine strolls onto the field, which nobody warned him about.

Why people keep watching

Loyalty versus temptation, with a battlefield for a punchline. The humor stays light and the tension stays close, and the free episodes never go beyond teasing, banter and a few well-timed near misses.
