Forgive Me, Father

The setup

A small-town parish has fallen for its newly arrived priest, and Mika, one of the faithful, makes sure he hears it first. She thanks him after the service and singles out the part of his sermon about resisting temptation. Then she turns up to confess, and what she admits to is him. His vows and his attraction start arguing in the same booth. Episode 2 opens with a question: where, exactly, does temptation turn into sin? He objects to her tone, she reminds him that confession is meant for honesty, and the booth gets smaller. When she leaves, he is plainly sorry to see her go.

Why people keep watching

Sacred setting, forbidden attraction: the pull is a man whose job is saying no and a woman who keeps asking questions he can't answer cleanly. Pauses, glances and whispered confessions carry the free episodes, so it stays suggestive.

Tune in if

For fans of forbidden-romance setups with a little blasphemy and a lot of restraint, best on a night when you want the temptation slow.
