BAD Step-Sister

The setup

Daisy turns up at her step-brother's door with luggage and Dad's blessing: she is staying for the summer. The apartment is not empty. His girlfriend lives there, and nobody has mentioned that Daisy and her step-brother share a past, a short one that began at a wedding and was meant to end there. Daisy announces herself, heads for the shower, lets a towel do the talking and greets the girlfriend like a new neighbor. In episode 2 he tries to set terms, because the girlfriend is on the other side of a wall. Daisy hears that as a feature. She admits she misses being his secret, then floats a plan that includes the girlfriend.

Why people keep watching

The pleasure here is proximity: a secret carried into a shared apartment, a girlfriend a thin wall away and a houseguest who treats every rule as a dare. The free episodes keep to towels, glances and teasing.
