Not Under My Roof

The setup

At the family table, the groom's mother-in-law-to-be vetoes his bachelor party before an audience of relatives, citing wedding week and her roof. He nods and says yes, ma'am. An hour on, with brunch behind her and her daughter dozing upstairs, she beckons him to follow, warning that this stays strictly among relatives and must be done quietly. Episode 2 opens on the surprise: Bianca, the fiancée's godmother, calls it rehearsal dinner prep. The groom keeps reminding everyone that his fiancée is just above them, which only seems to encourage the hosts.

Why people keep watching

Everything hinges on volume: a sleeping fiancée, a house full of relatives and a plan that only works if nobody makes a sound. Whispering, tiptoeing and too many glances at the staircase keep the free episodes suggestive.

Best for anyone who likes a hushed-voice farce, a strict mother-in-law with a hidden agenda and a hero who knows better.
