My Hot Professor

The setup

Jake has just flunked his third test, and without a passing mark he loses his scholarship. Professor Vaughn summons him to her office once the day winds down, has him shut the door, and informs him that he is smart and merely distracted. She noticed him looking in class, and instead of scolding him she puts an offer on the table: another route to a passing grade, with no dean and nobody else in the loop. In episode 2 Jake turns her down, citing his girlfriend, Maya, who happens to be the top scorer in her course. Vaughn tells him the offer never expires. Maya offers to study with him, and he cannot stop thinking about the office.

Why people keep watching

The tension lives in two rooms: an office with a locked door and a study table with a girlfriend who trusts him completely. Vaughn is patient, because she expects him back. Anyone can watch episode 1 with no account, and the early episodes stick to office hours and loaded stares.
