My Girlfriend's Mom

The setup

Three weeks after an unforgettable evening with a woman he assumed he would never see again, the narrator meets his girlfriend's parents. The mother is that woman. In the pilot she says she remembers everything, then lays out the deal: he stays with her daughter and keeps her happy too, or the daughter hears the whole story. Episode 2 brings Frank, the husband, home, and the stakes tighten. She slips the hero a time and a room, tells him to be quick and straighten her dress while the family chats nearby, and her daughter wonders why Mom keeps hogging her boyfriend.

Why people keep watching

The leverage is simple and the logistics are a nightmare: a family dinner, a husband who never notices and a girlfriend a few steps away. Whispered threats, near misses and loaded eye contact fill the free episodes.
