I Can See Through Everyone But Her

The setup

Rent is due and Owen is broke, so he swallows a mystery pill for five hundred dollars. By the next day he can see through things, including what people are wearing, a secret he guards like a winning ticket. He grins at the woman he owes rent to and gets away with it. Then comes a checkup with the researcher running the study, Dr. Larrea. She is the one person he cannot see through, and she knows exactly what he is up to. Episode 2 brings nosebleeds, a scare and an unusual exam: Dr. Larrea measures how deep the effect goes with a game of forfeits, and every detail he names correctly costs her a layer.

Why people keep watching

The hook is a power that works on everyone but the one woman who matters, and a scientist who treats flirtation as a controlled experiment, in a study that belongs to her husband. Free episodes lean on the premise and the forfeits, in suggestion rather than detail.

Tune in if

A cheeky sci-fi hook, a flustered hero and a scientist who stays one move ahead: good for anyone who likes flirtation with a lab coat.
